This years lineup looks amazing, with some cracking headliners the likes of Kasabian, The Yeah Yeah Yeah's and the Maccabees and a whole host of up and coming acts from which Ive selected a few of my favorites.
Chew Lips a synth pop 3 piece formed in London in 2008. There currently doing the rounds with NME favorites The Virgins having previously toured with the Howling Bells. Also having your first single "Solo" released on the ever trendy Kitsune Maison label has got to be another tick in the box on the chart of success.
Heartbreak a two piece italo-disco combo. Their about to embark on the NME radar tour at the end of this month and have booked both sets at Sonar Festival in Barcelona and at Glastonbury. With their myspace also featuring remixes of La Roux and collaborations with Little Boots the duo are pushing all the right buttons to thrust themselves into the limelight.
Newham Generals, one of the first acts to be signed to Dizzee Rascals Dirtee Stank label are promising to bring something different to the crawl. This year looks to be a big one for the generals with the release of their debut album.
